Build capability and organisational systems for improvement

Improvement Practitioner (May) 2024/25

Expanding upon the well-received 'QSIR by Aqua Virtual' programme, our Improvement Practitioner programme offers participants a comprehensive understanding of Quality Improvement principles, equipping them with the necessary tools, techniques, and leadership capabilities to implement their chosen improvement projects effectively.

Delivered entirely online, this programme spans four months and comprises a launch event followed by four half-day learning sessions. These sessions include webinars and café-style discussions, providing a platform for group interaction and practical application of the tools learned. Additionally, participants will have access to tailored coaching sessions aimed at honing their leadership skills and supporting others in their improvement efforts.

Designed for individuals with a foundational understanding of Quality Improvement, this programme caters to those seeking to enhance their ability to lead and support improvement initiatives within their organisations. Throughout the programme, participants will be expected to demonstrate their learning and practical application of the tools, ensuring a hands-on and outcomes-driven learning experience.

Key Programme benefits:

  • Opportunity to refresh and/or develop your improvement knowledge and skills.

  • Develop a shared language and approach to improvement, fostering collaboration and consistency across teams.

  • Build connections and relationships with fellow participants, fostering a supportive learning community.
  • Alignment with strategic priorities, ensuring that improvement efforts contribute directly to organisational goals and objectives.
